Quick Answer
In traditional Western astrology, today's Scorpio horoscope (Friday, October 2, 2026) reads 3/5 overall, with boundaries as the day's working theme. The chart suggests Obsidian as today's supportive stone, a placement for self-reflection rather than prediction.
In traditional Western astrology, today’s Scorpio reading is drawn from three reference frameworks. According to Robert Hand in Planets in Transit (1976), the daily mood of a sign is shaped by where the transiting Moon and inner planets meet the natal placement. Chris Brennan in Hellenistic Astrology (2017) describes the ancient practice of reading the day-of-the-week ruler alongside the Moon’s sign, the framework we still use. Demetra George in Ancient Astrology in Theory and Practice (2019) describes the daily horoscope as a snapshot of an ongoing transit story, not a self-contained prediction.
